Russell MaddockDirector - CPA

Russell completed his Bachelor of Business degree at QUT in 1991 and was admitted as a CPA in 1995. He joined PB Irwin& Associates in the same year. He became a partner in Irwin & Associates in 2002. In 2022 Russell went out on his own an formed Russ Maddock & Co. Russell is a Xero-certified advisor. Outside of work his passions are his family, classic Sunbeam cars, Hillman Imps and tracing his ancestry.

Neola SchönPractice Manager

Neola has been working in the Business/Property and Accounting Industry for over 30 years and is a Certified QuickBooks and Xero Advisor, and is Xero Payroll Certified. Neola has a close affinity with the people in the Gold Coast’s Northern Suburbs where she has lived for over 20 years. She prides herself on providing a professional, quality service and aims to constantly improve her ability to achieve the desired results of our many valued clients in a professional and diligent manner. Neola’s hobbies include antiquing, travel and completing property renovations.

Oliver Maddock-SchönAccountant

Oliver is the eldest child of Neola and Russell and is proudly following in his father’s footsteps. He has completed qualifications in Accounting and Business and has an advanced certified advisor certificate in QuickBooks as well as certification in Xero payroll and is a Certified Xero Advisor. Oliver is continuing his studies and enjoying working in the accounting industry especially assisting our clients with their Tax, BAS, bookkeeping, cloud software and STP requirements. Outside of work Oliver’s interests include Formula 1 racing and fishing.

Elke Maddock-SchönReception & Digital Media Co-ordinator

Elke is the eldest daughter of Neola and Russell and a valuable hard working member of our team. Elke is always willing to help our clients and staff in a friendly, courteous manner. Elke is an enthusiastic and personable multitasker, who has a flare and talent for social media and digital marketing. Elke is always ready to direct your call and assist your enquiry with a smile.
Outside of work Elke enjoys busking, song writing, travelling and learning new languages and cultures.

Louisa Maddock-SchönAccountants Assistant

Louisa is the youngest child of Neola and Russell she is a kind, caring, responsible and positive team member. Louisa’s help and support is invaluable to our office functioning in an organised, systemised and professional manner. Outside of work Louisa enjoys contemporary dance, baking and fine arts.
